On 6 July UKOM co-presented a webinar – "A new understanding of online audiences" – which marked the arrival of UKOM Ipsos iris as the UK's standard for online audience measurement across PC, tablet and smartphone. 

UKOM CEO Ian Dowds, Rishad Tobaccowala (author and senior advisor to Publicis Groupe), and Tasneem Ali (Ipsos) presented to a virtual audience of almost 200 attendees.

They demonstrated the unique features of UKOM Ipsos iris, underscored that industry collaboration is key to the success of audience measurement and outlined the upcoming developments to the currency. Discussing the key ingredients to building and keeping trust, Tobaccowala said: "Data is like electricity, we cannot operate without it but it's no longer a differentiator. It's how we use and gather data that differentiates."
