Goodstuff and News UK were the big winners at the second Ipsos iris Ace Awards, which celebrated original and effective use of UKOM-endorsed Ipsos iris data in Q3 2023.
Ella Basra, Digital Director of Goodstuff, and Sherbin Shamsuddin, Insights Manager at News UK, were presented with their awards and a £100 Amazon voucher by Ian Dowds, CEO of UKOM, on October 26.
Shamsuddin’s entry, the media owner winner, showed exemplary use of the full range of Ipsos iris data for internal reporting. Her work across News UK’s titles gives internal stakeholders – commercial, corporate comms, finance, editorial and senior executive teams – a clear picture of online performance, at granular level.
Basra’s entry, which took the agency prize, used Ipsos iris data to identify the best social media platform for drinks brand Fever-Tree to invest online budget to hit 45+ connoisseurs.
Goodstuff took home an Ace award for the second time, having won the inaugural prize for agencies in August.
Dowds commented: “We’re delighted to celebrate the brilliance of Sherbin and Ella, two young planners who excel at using Ipsos iris data to aid objective and effective decision-making.”
The awards are free to enter and work for the award period Q4 2023 (covering October, November & December) should be submitted by Monday 11 December 2023. Our short submission form is here.
