Linda Smith

Chair

Linda joined UKOM in June 2023 to lead the Commercial Board and in July 2026 she added the overall Chair role to her remit, succeeding Iain Jacob. She brings over 20 years board-level experience at media agencies and owners. As CEO of Publicis media brands Starcom and Mediavest Linda oversaw record new business wins and award-winning campaigns. She held leadership roles at Centaur Media and Tag. Earlier in her career she was Commercial Director at Capital Radio and GCap Media, as well as interim CEO and Executive Chair at RAB. Outside work, Linda is a fan of the performing arts (including being a season ticket holder at Arsenal FC), boxes regularly, is an active member of WACL and has three grown-up children. She is a Non-Executive Director for law firm Weightmans.
